Job Summary
Design interiors test fits and space plans while working directly with clients to deliver exceptional projects on time and on budget. Manage small to mid-size projects by deploying resources, acting as the primary liaison between the team and client, and coordinating vendor contracts and MEP/structural engineering requirements. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, leveraging existing connections with local real estate brokers to execute lease transactions in the Bay area. Directly supervise up to four employees by interviewing, hiring, training, and directing work while driving business through quality control and excellent customer service. Collaborate effectively with a technical team and Managing Director to ensure design, schedule, and scope of work align with building codes and project phasing.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Professional Architectural License (CA)
- Knowledge of fed,eral, state and local building administrative codes relating to building projects
- Extensive knowledge of architectural and interiors principles/practices that include modern architectural methods and background in solving architectural design and construction problems
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
- five to eight years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Landlord Services
- Degree in Architecture (or related field)
- LEED Accreditation
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent communications skills and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent decision-making and problem solving skills
- Excellent administrative, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to deal effectively with a wide range of individuals and work in a team environment
- Knowledge of CAD and Revit 2010
- Strong business development skills
- Ability to effectively perform in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Established relationships in the marketplace
- Actively involved in the commercial real estate community
- Drive business through excellent customer service and quality control
- Strong management and organizational skills
