Job Summary
Project Manager for heavy civil/utility work in Aiken, SC, overseeing water, sewer, storm drainage, earthwork, and site civil projects from start to finish. Align labor, equipment, and crews for optimal field production; generate project information; develop plans, schedules, and budgets; manage submittals, RFIs, PCOs, quantities, and procurement; lead subcontractor/supplier buyout; submit change orders and pay applications; supervise the project team and maintain customer relationships. Requires 8+ years in heavy civil construction, strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency with Primavera P6/MS Project, and a relevant bachelor’s degree (preferred). Must have a valid driver’s license, be a U.S. citizen, and participate in pre-employment/random drug screening and background checks; Culture Index assessment completion requested.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in heavy civil construction
- Experience managing water, sewer, storm drainage, earthwork, and site civil projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent)
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Pre-employment and random drug screening
- Background screening
- Culture Index personality assessment participation
