Job Summary
Manage and coordinate designated projects to facilitate internal and external activities, ensuring on-time delivery and conformance with Program Objectives. Provide support to project team members, functional managers, external resources, and third-party vendors while resolving risks and escalating issues as necessary. Ensure initiatives have clear success criteria, execution plans, and resource assignments through negotiation with the PMO and functional managers. Create, monitor, and maintain project assets including requirements documentation, technical specifications, release plans, and JIRA support entries. Track project tasks, manage resource allocation, and communicate timely status updates to management and clients. Lead production release activities, including impact assessment and sponsor communication.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of project management/leadership experience in a software development organization
- At least 4 years experience in full software life cycle projects
- Minimum of 2 years of external client management experience
- Project Management experience on large/enterprise applications
- Experience with Project Management tools such as Microsoft Project (or similar)
- Experience with defect management software
- Strong interpersonal skills (including conflict management)
- Ability to clearly explain technical issues and constraints to non-technical people both in verbal and written communications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to speak comfortably to a variety of audiences
- Must be able to work on EST
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with website billing projects
- Experience working with off-site project team members
- Previous experience as a software developer, systems analyst or business analyst
- Demonstrated technical background in a computer science discipline
- Practical experience in web programming
