Project Manager – Wearable Airbag Digital System (ECU, App, Cloud & Algorithms)

Job Summary
Lead and deliver end-to-end Wearable Airbag Digital System development projects across ECU, embedded software, crash detection algorithms, mobile applications, and cloud platforms—from evolution to industrialization and series production—ensuring cost, schedule, risk, and quality across hardware, software, and cloud domains. Coordinate cross-functional teams (system & electronics engineering, embedded software, crash-detection algorithms, hardware, mechanical design, validation, validation & test, industrialization, manufacturing, mobile app & cloud) and manage interfaces, data flows, OTA/FOTA, and cybersecurity considerations. Drive end-to-end system definition and consistency, manage the global integrated project plan, budgets, and resources, and lead risk, safety, and quality activities (functional safety processes, DFMEA/PFMEA). Maintain lifecycle plans for ECU developments, feature introductions, and synchronization between ECU releases, app stores, and cloud deployments, while coordinating suppliers and external engineering teams and communicating status to management. Requires an engineering degree or equivalent, 5+ years in embedded/mechatronic project management, and strong leadership in Agile + V-cycle hybrid environments.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience in project management of embedded or mechatronic systems
- Experience in safety-critical products is a strong asset
- Solid understanding of embedded ECU development, system engineering, and electronics/software constraints
- Familiarity with V-cycle development, quality and safety processes
- Strong planning, organization, and leadership skills
- Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and suppliers
- Excellent professional English (written and spoken)
