Job Summary
Oversee execution of rebar projects from setup through completion by providing total contract management, including coordination of detailing, scheduling, delivery, and costs. Direct customer and project teams to establish sequential steps, adapt schedules, and resolve fabrication or delivery issues. Review shop drawings, direct revisions, and schedule products with contractors and production teams while answering customer questions. Troubleshoot complex problems and make decisions under uncertainty, independently planning, assigning, and monitoring progress. Perform special projects and complete all other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in a related discipline
- 5-8 years of experience in a related field
- MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field
- Certification in some areas
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineer, Construction Management, related degree and/or equivalent work experience
- 2 + years of project management experience
- 1 + year of construction project management experience
- Basic knowledge of AutoCad or MicroStation
- Ability to read & understand structural & architectural drawings
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills combined with the ability to meet deadlines and mult-task in fast-paced environment
