Job Summary

Project Manager for Water/Wastewater Utilities overseeing design and delivery of water and wastewater capital projects. Responsibilities include managing hydraulic modeling efforts, master planning studies, capital improvements programming, and the design of facilities such as water transmission and distribution lines, well facilities, pumping stations, and wastewater pipelines; delivering construction drawings, project specifications, and technical reports; preparing detailed work scopes, fee estimates, and schedules; mentoring design engineers; driving business development and client relationships to secure repeat work; requires strong written and oral communication, self-motivation, and team collaboration. Software proficiency with Aquanuity, EPANet, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation is expected. Education and licensing include a Civil Engineering degree and active Colorado PE license. Location is Lakewood, CO with a hybrid work schedule; relocation preferred for Colorado residents or those willing to relocate.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university
  • 10+ years of combined planning, design and project management experience on water and wastewater projects
  • Active Colorado Professional Engineer license or ability to transfer a license from another state within 6 months of hire
  • Knowledge and familiarity with software: Aquanuity, EPANet, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation
