Job Summary
Project Manager for Hazen and Sawyer's Cincinnati office overseeing water/wastewater infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include developing technical treatment strategies, coordinating with clients and internal specialists, planning, design, permitting, and construction of related projects, leading interdisciplinary teams, supervising junior staff, fieldwork/site visits, and leading business development activities including proposals and client interviews. Requires a Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental/chemical/mechanical engineering, a PE license (Ohio preferred or obtainable within six months), and 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater project delivery. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, experience with $10M+ projects, contract negotiation, staff recruitment, professional society leadership, and familiarity with CADD, GIS, and Revit. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, chemical or mechanical engineering
- A current PE license (Ohio preferred or ability to obtain within six months of employment)
- 10+ years of experience in the field of water and/or wastewater-related infrastructure, including project management (planning, design, and construction)
- Experience in successfully delivering projects spanning multiple years in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams
- Proficient in all MS Office based computer software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies
- Self-starter with attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be capable of presenting complex issues to nontechnical people
