Project Manager - Water/Wastewater Plants

Oversee the project performance for the Water/Wastewater Plants Division from estimating/pre-construction through successful completion, focusing on safety, owner satisfaction, cost, schedule, and quality control. Build and maintain client/owner, architect, and engineer relationships to encourage repeat collaboration. Collaborate with Preconstruction Services on value engineering, soliciting bidders, estimating assistance, and proposals. Set up and maintain project cost accounting and develop the project schedule. Support permitting, testing, and inspections; understand owner contract requirements and delivery methods. Negotiate subcontractor agreements and purchase orders; generate a Schedule of Values and monthly payment applications. Review subcontractor pay apps and vendor invoices; track change management; facilitate coordination meetings and document minutes. Manage contracts, bonds, insurance certificates, contract compliance, and warranties; monitor submittals, shop drawings, and procurement to ensure timely delivery. Track budgets, schedules, and cost reports; review with the project team weekly. Visit jobsites regularly to review progress, production boards, quality, and safety. Manage change orders, extra work orders, and disputed claims with owners and representatives toward a successful resolution. Oversee startup and commissioning where applicable and provide owner training and turnover deliverables. Report project financial performance and resolve major conflicts with Division Manager.
