Job Summary
Spearhead investigations, design development, and project execution for water and wastewater treatment, distribution, and collection systems throughout Pennsylvania. Oversee multi-disciplinary treatment facility designs, conduct alternatives analyses and economic evaluations, and manage collection and distribution projects including linear and pumping systems. Lead treatability studies such as bench testing and pilot plant evaluations, while managing team performance, utilization, and engagement. Deliver small- or medium-scale projects within established program and contract management plans, manage relationships with contract service providers and clients, and carry out engineering inspections to evaluate work quality and structural integrity. This pivotal role joins the US East Water business in Harrisburg, PA, offering a hybrid schedule of three days in-office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering or closely related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in PA or ability to acquire it
- At least 6 years of relevant water engineering experience
- Knowledge of water regulations including wastewater treatment and conveyance, surface water treatment, lead and copper and disinfection byproduct rules
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
- Willing and able to travel to project sites and client meetings as needed
