Project Manager - Water / Wastewater

Job Summary
Lead municipal water treatment engineering efforts by directing technical efforts, performing calculations, contributing to modeling, and preparing proposals for diverse projects spanning iron/manganese removal, PFAS treatment, and reverse osmosis. Manage water/wastewater projects with a focus on treatment, collection, and distribution systems, including developing studies, design, construction observation, and regulatory negotiation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple offices to generate detailed design documents while meeting client deadlines and budgets. Provide QA/QC, conduct research and pilot studies, and mentor junior engineers. Assist in master planning, feasibility studies, and process evaluations for complex infrastructure challenges.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
- M.S. degree in Environmental Engineering
- 10+ years experience with progressive responsibilities for public sector water and wastewater projects
- FL FE required
- Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, and county/agency review staff
Desired Qualifications
- M.S. degree in Environmental Engineering (preferred)
- Familiar with Modeling and GIS software
- Water/Wastewater infrastructure experience is a plus
