Project Manager (Water/Wastewater)

Job Summary
Lead activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting on water/wastewater construction projects. Manage risk and monitor progress against the schedule while supporting senior project management and coordinating with owners, design firms, and subcontractors. Prepare monthly status reports, drive a culture of safety on active job sites, develop and mentor project team members, secure permits and verify insurance coverage, and assist in proposals and final project close-out including turnover of manuals and warranties. Establish and maintain positive relationships with counterparts at owners, engineering and design firms; monitor project milestones; ensure adherence to Clark Construction safety policies; be prepared for extended hours during critical phases and emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, a related discipline, or relevant work experience
- 4+ years of construction experience required; working for a general contractor on large-scale construction projects is highly preferred
- 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams
- Understanding of the strategic, operational, and financial components of a construction project
- Ability to make timely and effective decisions
- Experience managing projects successfully from start to finish
- Skilled at developing and negotiating relationships with owners and trade contractors
- Strong work ethic, leadership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Water/Wastewater construction experience
- DBIA and/or LEED Accreditation
