Job Summary
Lead contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting while creating project plans that outline tasks, timelines, and resources. Manage risk, monitor progress against the schedule, and facilitate meetings to coordinate work activities with stakeholders, owners, and design firms. Secure permits, verify subcontractor insurance, and drive site safety culture. Prepare monthly status reports, lead project close-outs, and develop the project team. Participate in proposals to support new work acquisition. This active, hands-on role requires navigating construction sites, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in all weather conditions. Expect extended hours and responsiveness to critical issues. Base salary ranges from $85,000 to $185,000.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, a related discipline, or relevant work experience
- 4+ years of construction experience
- Working for a general contractor on large-scale construction projects
- 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams
- Understanding of the strategic, operational, and financial components of a construction project
- Ability to make timely and effective decisions
- Experience managing projects successfully from start to finish
- Skilled at developing and negotiating relationships with owners and trade contractors

Desired Qualifications
- 4+ years of construction experience; working for a general contractor on large-scale construction projects is highly preferred
