Job Summary
Project Manager for Water/Wastewater at AECOM supporting OC San’s Capital and Small Projects Program in a hybrid role (2–3 days in the Fountain Valley office, remainder remote). Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering municipal water/wastewater capital and small projects; manage one or more moderately complex projects from planning through closeout (scope, schedule, budget, risk); provide owner-side project management including project controls, scheduling, cost tracking, procurement coordination, and change management; lead the efforts of technical staff and subconsultants; interface with OC San project managers, engineers, operations staff, and leadership; identify and mitigate risks; review design calculations and documents; participate in interdisciplinary reviews; prepare project documentation and status updates; support coordination with contractors during construction; potential guidance to junior engineers; require CAD/design software proficiency (Civil 3D, Bentley, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, ArcGIS); sponsorship/relocation considered. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related engineering field
- 6 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering and design
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review
