Project Manager - Water/Waste Water

Job Summary
Develop execution plans for water and wastewater projects covering scope, schedule, quality, health and safety, risk management, and change management. Negotiate and manage sub-agreements while tracking project performance, controlling costs, reporting on progress, and ensuring timely invoicing. Maintain regular communication with clients and actively support managers in developing opportunities with existing and new clients. Mentor and empower the project team, including junior staff and engineers. This role requires a Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario with at least 8 years of engineering design and management experience. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 8 years engineering design and management of water or wastewater projects
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario
- Experience managing the technical, contractual and financial risks associated with water or wastewater projects
- Significant experience in preliminary design, detailed design and contract administration /construction management
- Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience delivering engineering projects in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
- Experience with design build and Public-Private-Partnership assignments
- Experience with business development, including writing technical proposals
- PM experience in large multi-disciplinary projects and /or portfolio management or multi-project management, including project planning, scheduling, estimating and budgeting, progress and performance monitoring and reporting
- Completion of formal PM training in an accredited program that aligns with the requirements of Certified Project Management bodies (e.g. PMI)
