Project Manager – Water & Sewer

Job Summary
Manage water, sewer, and civil construction projects from planning through completion, including preparing estimates, bids, and tender packages. Perform quantity and material take-offs from drawings, coordinate large-scale construction schedules, and track budgets, costs, and forecasts to ensure milestones and deadlines are met. Conduct cost analysis, review drawings and change orders, and manage documentation such as RFIs and progress reports. Promote and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies while communicating with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Requires 5+ years of civil construction experience, proficiency with Bid2Win, and a valid driver's license. Salary starts at $120,000 with comprehensive benefits, RRSP matching, and ongoing safety training.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in civil construction
- Proven experience managing Water & Sewer infrastructure projects
- Extensive experience preparing estimates, bids, and tender submissions
- Experience coordinating and scheduling large-scale construction projects
- Strong knowledge of project budgeting, cost analysis, and cost tracking
- Experience performing quantity and material take-offs
- Proficiency with Bid2Win
- Strong understanding of underground utility construction methods
- Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
Desired Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Experience working on municipal infrastructure projects
- Experience with additional estimating or project management software
