Job Summary
Lead wastewater projects from design to execution, directing scheduling, staffing, and quality to deliver on time and within budget. Design and develop wastewater treatment and collection systems; perform hydraulic modeling, process design, and system optimization. Apply expertise in biosolids management, including anaerobic digestion, regulatory compliance, and energy recovery. Drive business development, maintain client relationships, and communicate technical concepts clearly. Manage projects with staff and sub-consultants to successful completion, prepare contracts and proposals, and ensure high-quality documentation and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- 8 years engineering experience
- 2+ years project management experience
- Ability to navigate Illinois Environmental Protection Agency regulations
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Proficiency with engineering software
- Effective communication skills
