Job Summary
Develop project documentation, including master schedules and project plans, while ensuring all projects follow standard processes to meet quality and timeline expectations. Manage relationships with customers and stakeholders through regular reporting, meetings, and conference calls to address dissatisfactions and justify scope changes. Identify and quantify potential risks, lead reporting meetings to discuss progress and action plans, and control budget items by developing mitigation strategies for schedule variances. Clarify work scope with internal teams before obtaining customer buy-in and implement permanent solutions to avoid repeated delays.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in project or program management
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry or rail transit
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and contract administration
- Valid driver's license
- Available to travel to the United States occasionally
