Job Summary

Lead technical and commercial project aspects from inception through delivery, managing multiple projects for new products and services in the passenger rail industry. Develop comprehensive master plans, coordinate production and supply chain activities, and ensure contract deliverables meet customer specifications while optimizing margins through cost management and contract improvement plans. Conduct risk analyses, lead cross-functional teams without direct authority, and maintain accurate documentation for schedules, risks, and financials. Manage project core teams to meet technical deliverables, interface with design engineering to modify products, and negotiate product requirements with customers. Ensure high-quality delivery while maintaining customer relationships and reporting progress internally and externally.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Engineering or technical discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of Project Management or equivalent experience
  • Passenger rail industry experience
  • Multi-national corporation experience
  • PMP Certification
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects
  • Commercial and business acumen with entrepreneurial mindset
  • Proactive problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with mechanical aptitude
  • Familiarity with general manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Rail transit experience
  • Hands-on with engineered products and services
  • Up to 25% travel to various sites
  • Primarily office-based work
  • On-site presence during normal working day/hours
  • Requires talking, hearing, sitting, and light physical activity
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Successful completion of a drug screen
  • Successful completion of a fitness-for-duty test
