Job Summary
Lead vehicle program delivery to Quality, Cost, and Timing goals by managing, supervising, and providing technical direction for planning and scheduling activities across all departments. Plan leadership of assigned Vehicle Engineering projects, distribute workloads to optimize schedules, and conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks. Direct design, development, and release activities while coordinating conflicts, driving countermeasures for significant issues, and leading technical reviews. Prepare reports, make presentations, and communicate instructions through various meetings. Maximize team performance using standard processes and provide necessary resources, tools, and training.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High level operational experience in the use of MS Project
- Ability to assess cross functional risks quickly and direct program validation activities
- Competent in English, both written and verbal
- Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
- Resilient, self-motivated and able to work well under pressure
- Experience serving as a Technical Leader, Team Lead, or Sub-Project Manager in project environments is an advantage
