Job Summary
Project Manager needed to lead customer and strategic internal projects from order release through installation and commissioning in an industrial manufacturing environment. Drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, automation, quality, vendor coordination, and field installation to deliver projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities include coordinating with customers and vendors, supporting engineering, manufacturing and quality milestones, maintaining project documentation, and driving continuous improvement, new product development, and corporate initiatives. Requires strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving, technical understanding, and the ability to build trusted relationships; role reports to VP of Engineering and follows a M-F 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule with possible overtime. Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7+ years of PM experience in industrial manufacturing automation or related industries; PMP or equivalent training preferred; Lean and continuous improvement experience preferred. Location: Salina, Kansas, USA with no relocation package.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or other equivalent experience
- Seven or more years of project management experience in industrial manufacturing automation, capital equipment, material handling, or related industries
- Experience managing cross-functional projects involving engineering, fabrication, controls/automation, and field installation
- PMP certification or equivalent project management training is preferred
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and new product development is preferred
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships across departments and with external partners while fostering a collaborative team environment
- This position requires working Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs
