Job Summary
Project Manager leading capital projects and strategic initiatives within regulated pharmaceutical/biotechnology environments. Manages projects through all phases, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, schedule, and budget. Collaborates across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Procurement, EHSS, Construction, contractors, and vendors; responsibilities include planning, budgeting, risk management, procurement coordination, commissioning/qualification, startup, and turnover to operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
- Minimum of 8 years of experience managing capital projects within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other FDA-regulated industries
- Experience coordinating with engineering firms, contractors, equipment vendors, and internal technical teams
- Strong understanding of GMP environments, regulated project execution, and quality system expectations
- Experience with MS Project, SAP, Planisware, Primavera or similar systems
- PMP certification is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
- On-site in the eastern region of Puerto Rico
