Job Summary
Oversee the complete lifecycle of multiple projects from contract development through closeout, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contractual requirements. Plan, organize, and report activities to the management team while serving as the principal point of contact for engineering, fabrication, and construction operations. Identify contractual issues and scheduling deficiencies, develop mitigation strategies, and manage change orders. Troubleshoot problems by coordinating with city officials, consultants, inspectors, and subcontractors, and provide monthly billing amounts for each project phase. Travel 35-40% of the time to verify site conditions, sign documents, and attend progress meetings. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management with five years of experience, advanced Microsoft Project knowledge, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management, or related field
- five (5) or more years of project management experience
- Advance knowledge in Microsoft Project for scheduling
- Advance knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (primarily Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Competent with oral & written communication
- Strong qualitative and analytical skills
- Exemplary organizational skills
- Must be quick to adapt and able to thrive in a fast paced, high-pressure environment

- Self-motivated; ability to work independently
- Ability to manage time to meet multiple project objectives
- Technical aptitude to review and understand project plans and specifications
- Technical understanding of project specific construction procedures

- Ability to work in a variety of conditions (office, remotely, and in field conditions while traveling)
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to drive an average of 8 hours per day, one-way
- Willingness to commute via airline travel
- Must have valid identification for airline travel
- Must be available for communications outside normal business hours (flexible scheduling), including nights, weekends, and holidays
