Job Summary
Manage assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope by developing work plans, schedules, estimates, and resource plans. Coordinate project team meetings, provide technical guidance, and communicate progress with stakeholders at key review points. Analyze project performance against objectives and manage resource capacity while facilitating project and resource management software usage. Establish and track milestones, accounting for unforeseen delays and realigning schedules as needed. This role supports the University of Illinois Foundation's fundraising and development initiatives, requiring a Bachelor's degree, two years of IT project management experience, and proficiency with MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- At least two years of project management experience or progressively responsible work experience relating to information services or project management
- Considerable experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and objectives
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
- Experienced and articulate communication skills (oral and written)
- Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
Desired Qualifications
- Experience designing and creating recurring standard reports for management
- More than five years of project management experience
- PMI certification
