Job Summary

Manage day-to-day project implementation for bulk water supply rehabilitation in the West Bank, supervising staff, consultants, and experts to deliver technical, operational, and financial outputs. Develop detailed work plans, monitor progress against milestones, and maintain accurate financial reporting and risk logs in alignment with UNDP rules. Coordinate with implementing partners, line ministries, and donors to finalize agreements, ensure quality assurance of deliverables, and promote community engagement. Prepare periodic progress reports, build interactive dashboards, and synthesize lessons learned to support the strategic transformation of the National Water Company.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in Water Resources Management, Engineering, Business administration, international development or related field
  • A first-level university degree (bachelor's degree) in the above fields in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience
  • Applicants with Master's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field of study are not required to have professional work experience
  • Applicants with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) are required to have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience at the national or international level in managing development projects, including financial, budget, risk, staff, as well as quality management
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English languages

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience engaging with multilateral donors, public institutions, and local government units
  • Proven experience managing complex projects including project risk identification, assessment, and development of mitigation measures
  • Proven Knowledge and understanding of monitoring and evaluation tools
  • Experience in results-based management reporting
  • Excellent use of project management software and Microsoft applications
  • Knowledge of the UN system and familiarity with UNDP procedures
  • Proven skills in developing donor and management reports using Power BI, and other visualization tools to present complex technical and financial information in a clear and impactful manner
  • Experience in managing water infrastructure projects
  • Project Management certification
