Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of UK Power Networks Services projects from initial enquiry through to commissioning, handover, and close-out. Deliver safe, efficient, and commercial project outcomes for customer connection and diversion works, ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 regulations, engineering standards, and environmental requirements. Coordinate interfaces with principal contractors, design teams, and stakeholders while managing budgets, forecasts, and NEC3/NEC4 contracts. Provide accurate reporting, risk mitigation, and construction assurance to maintain programme, budget, and quality targets. Support less experienced project managers and promote continuous improvement across the team.
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of NRSWA / Street Works
- Previous Project Management Experience
- PRINCE2 or APM (PMQ)
- A good understanding and use of Microsoft Project
- Full UK driving licence
- Must be able to achieve any project related Security Clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Electrical Engineering (to HNC or similar)
- Experience of Primavera programme planning package
- NEBOSH Certificate in construction
- NEC3/4 Contracts
- An understanding of the HV and LV networks (11kV to 132KV) and civils groundworks
