Job Summary
Oversee project profitability and success from estimate review through final testing, managing purchasing, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget completion. Direct on-site superintendents and field personnel while establishing performance standards, monitoring CPM schedules, and issuing large purchase orders. Review and approve contracts, coordinate safety programs, and lead weekly internal meetings to drive team performance. Manage project closeouts including QA/QC, commissioning, and warranty processes, while mentoring engineers and documenting lessons learned. Handle $10 million in annual revenues, fostering relationships with clients and vendors to identify future opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science Management, Architectural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical construction industry
- Prior experience in role assisting with project management or field leadership preferred
- Thorough knowledge of mechanical construction industry practices, processes, and standards
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, such as diplomacy, persuasion, etc.
- Time management and organizational skills
- Basic level of financial acumen necessary to manage project budget / performance
- Knowledge of the following computer programs: MS Word, Excel
- Experience with project management software a plus
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-management skills
- Ability to successfully drive project through completion
- Must be able to manage at least $10 million revenues of work annually

- Equivalent combination of mechanical field and leadership experience will be considered
