Job Summary
Coordinate schedules, budgets, and resources while communicating directly with contractors, designers, and owners regarding project cost, staffing, and scheduling. Supervise employees by training, mentoring, planning, assigning, and directing work, while appraising performance and resolving issues. Manage the whole project lifecycle for minor construction, facility repair, and real property alteration projects in Navy Support Facility, Diego Garcia, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety standards. Monitor construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent, investigate serious situations, and negotiate scope changes with clients and subcontractors. Maintain financial aspects of contracts and establish project objectives within corporate policy and contracting agreements.
Required Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar program from an accredited institution
- Professional Project Engineer license (USPE)
- Fifteen (15) or more years of related construction experience
- Five (5) years experience as a project manager on commercial building or heavy civil projects valued at $30M or more
- Good judgment in addressing technical issues and effectively managing and leading a team
- Ability to organize and collaborate on efforts to resolve problems or issues promptly
- Intermediate knowledge/proficiency of MS Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Primavera P6, Procore and HCSS
