Job Summary

Project Manager at Tutor Perini Building Corp will manage large-scale, high-profile construction projects. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts with Client/Owner, maintaining relationships and resolving disputes; understanding and applying contract terms, estimating and recognizing changes; monitoring jobsite safety and addressing deficiencies; developing cash flow projections with the Project Controller; approving Time and Material rates; coordinating with Client/Owner/Architect and Subcontractors; approving final bid packages for subcontractors; reviewing pay applications; issuing delay notices as required; negotiating subcontractor changes; providing proactive claims protection; tracking all cost reports and labor/unit projections; monitoring third party work authorization; approving payments to suppliers/subcontractors; reviewing PCO quotes and changes; settling union jurisdictional disputes with the Superintendent; monitoring schedule and participating in schedule meetings; submitting insurance claims to Safety Engineer; conducting CCIP activities and safety program; chairing Architect/Owner/Contractor meetings and distributing minutes; developing procurement logs and ensuring compliance with project schedule; analyzing and resolving construction process problems and issues; and effective communication with all levels of personnel. Requires a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar and 10+ years of relevant experience (or 14+ years if degree not met); knowledge of lodging and gaming vocabulary and facility program components; proficiency with MSOffice and project controls software (e.g., Prolog, Sure Trak, Primavera). The role emphasizes safety compliance, cost control, scheduling, and coordination across multiple stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar from an accredited institution
  • 10 or more years of relevant estimating, project management and / or construction experience
  • Or 14 or more years of relevant experience if degree requirement is not met
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of lodging and gaming vocabulary and facility program components
  • Proficient with MSOffice, Prolog, Sure Trak, Primavera or similar software
