Job Summary
Manage all facets of project management for individual real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout. Prepare standard project status reports, scope of work, cost estimates, and work plans while tracking progress against approved budgets and timelines. Facilitate project meetings, distribute minutes, and develop action item lists to ensure completion. Engage PEP partners, conduct request for proposals, and negotiate vendor contracts. Interface directly with clients to define requirements and review invoices for accuracy. Enter project data into management tools and maintain project metrics for SLA and KPIs. Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance. This role supports large-scale construction projects within a global professional services firm delivering outcomes across real estate, infrastructure, energy, and natural resources.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction
- 5+ years of relevant project management experience
- Strong organizational and management skills
- Effective presentation skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools
- Strong communication skills
- Competent in MS Project & Excel
- Know how to read drawings
- Dissect work letters
- Type up PJM Agreement
- Proficient in Scheduling
- File Management
- Ability to negotiate and advise Client on vendor contracts and proposals
- Manages all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk)
- Demonstrates capability to read, understand and apply standard documents affecting real estate projects, including but not limited to: agreements/contracts, leases, work letters, project charters, surveys and drawings
- Interfaces directly with clients to define project requirements
- Prepares scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification
- Prepares and reviews invoices and pay applications for processing in accordance with compliance requirements
- Assists in project close-out procedures for all projects
- Identifies project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists
- Conducts simple request for proposals
- Completes bid analysis
- Recommends resources to clients
- Implements communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes
- Facilitates project meetings
- Tracks progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines
- Reports status and variances
- Creates action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule
- Tracks Value Creation on all aspects of the project
- Successfully engages PEP partners and tracks spend
- Develop Action Item List and continuously track the completion of these items
- Attends all meetings and distributes meeting minutes as assigned
- Manages 3rd party project delivery resources/team
- Responsible for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating team members
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable
- Must be available for on-site presence (requirements may change depending on client's needs)
