Job Summary
Develop and implement project strategy, plans, and governance frameworks using data analysis and best practices. Manage project teams and vendors through data-driven tools while monitoring performance, risks, and changes via visualization and reporting. Ensure adherence to technical, regulatory, and environmental standards through data validation and verification methods. Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operation phases, facilitating the transition from construction to operation with data integration. Report status and outcomes to senior management and clients using data storytelling. Lead large-scale capital projects in the mining industry, including the frac sand market and hydraulic fracturing processes. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years of experience, and willingness to travel. On-site role with competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in managing large-scale capital projects in the mining industry
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, and on quality using data-driven approaches
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a data-oriented mindset
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with data complexity and uncertainty
- Familiarity with the frac sand market and the hydraulic fracturing process and the data sources and standards associated with them
- Willingness to travel and relocate as required
