Job Summary
Lead operational improvement projects from planning through completion, developing scopes, schedules, and resource plans for process adjustments or reliability enhancements. Coordinate tasks and timelines across Operations, Maintenance, and Safety teams while monitoring progress, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions. Facilitate recurring update meetings, provide status reports to leadership, and support testing, validation, and implementation of new operational tools. Ensure all activities comply with safety policies, regulatory requirements, and hazard analysis protocols. Collaborate with supply chain for resource delivery and streamline workflows to reduce downtime and enhance facility performance. Requires 15+ years of experience in chemical or manufacturing settings; PMP certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 15+ years of experience supporting or leading operational projects in a chemical, manufacturing, or industrial setting
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate tasks, collaborate cross-functionally, and manage small to mid-size operational initiatives
- Working knowledge of plant safety and operations processes
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certification preferred but not required
- OSHA or safety-related certifications a plus
