Job Summary
Assist senior project managers in establishing timelines, allocating resources, and coordinating sample collection with field and lab teams. Organize project documentation, track sample data, maintain field logs, and compile test result summaries. Provide project updates to clients and internal teams while monitoring field safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This entry-level role offers foundational experience in civil engineering and consulting, including frequent field visits and exposure to active construction sites.
Required Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related field, or equivalent amount of experience
- A minimum of 1year of project management experience in the construction or engineering industry
- The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Primarily office-based with frequent field visits
- Exposure to outdoor environments and active construction sites, requiring adherence to safety protocols
- Regular use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in field settings
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear
- The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands or fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
- The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- Basic understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Project Management software Dynamics
