Job Summary
Oversee the Project Management Team to plan, budget, and schedule projects from pre-construction through construction, ensuring timely and cost-effective outcomes. Enforce company safety policies and manage subcontractors, vendors, and third-party resources while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Lead project meetings, document RFIs and submittals, and develop mitigation plans for identified risks. Manage project claims with the Legal Department, coordinate onsite personnel and equipment, and compile financial and production reports for leadership. Maintain strong client relationships and ensure all deliverables meet Traylor Building's high-quality standards across diverse markets including healthcare, education, and infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Construction or Engineering
- 5+ year's experience in management of construction projects
- Understanding of various contract types such as: Lump Sum, Design Build and EPC contracts
- Strong understanding of financial operations and corporate cost control
- Strong math/accounting and estimating skills
- Scheduling experience
- Procore Project Management Software
- Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong written, communication, and problem solving skills
- Exhibits strong leadership qualities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Computer proficient and the ability to adapt to new innovations and processes
- Experience and confidence working in and around heavy industrial equipment, systems and conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Primavera (P6)
- Bachelor of Science in Construction or Engineering preferred, but experience may be considered
- 5+ year's experience in management of construction projects preferred
