Job Summary
Manage transportation projects on local, collector, or arterial roads for municipal clients across Ontario, overseeing schedules, budgets, cost control, and quality procedures. Lead design and contract preparation for urban and rural road construction, including environmental assessments and infrastructure reconstruction. Supervise technical staff, guide client liaison efforts, and resolve engineering challenges while liaising with government authorities for permit approvals. Maintain business relationships and coordinate business development activities to identify new client opportunities. Requires a P.Eng. license, 8+ years of project delivery experience, and proficiency with Civil3D or Microstation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project delivery including minimum 5 years in design experience with transportation and municipal infrastructure in Ontario
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng.) and Member of Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO)
- Experience with coordinating multi-discipline designs and construction projects
- Ability to mentor staff to expand their technical knowledge
- Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills in English
- Integrity, team spirit, and a commitment to excellence
- Burlington or Mississauga, ON offices
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil3D and/or Microstation/OpenRoads, Office 365 and MS Project would be an asset
