Job Summary
Lead Program Management Consultancy services for Khavda Hybrid Renewable Energy Program, serving as primary interface between Client, Consultant, EPC Contractors, and external stakeholders. Establish governance, communication protocols, and responsibility matrices while driving implementation of execution strategies and monitoring systems. Review contractor schedules, baseline plans, and claims; monitor progress against milestones and KPIs to identify delays and develop recovery recommendations. Oversee coordination across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with technical standards, quality systems, and HSE requirements. Manage stakeholder relations with landowners and statutory authorities to resolve ROW and interface constraints. Lead completion reviews, pre-commissioning assessments, and energization readiness checks to facilitate project handover and close-out.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized institution
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in transmission and substation infrastructure projects
- Proven experience delivering EHV transmission line and substation projects
- Demonstrated leadership of at least one major 400 kV or 765 kV transmission or substation project
- Experience in large-scale utility, renewable energy or power transmission programs
- Experience in multidisciplinary project management and stakeholder coordination
- Experience with HVDC converter stations and transmission systems
- Experience in GIS substations, power transformers, shunt reactors and protection systems
- Knowledge of SCADA, telecommunications and grid integration systems
- Experience working as PMC, Owner's Engineer, Engineer's Representative or EPC Project Manager
- PMP, PMI, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification
- Familiarity with Primavera P6, MS Project and project reporting tools
- Must be able to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
