Job Summary
The Project Manager for Transmission Line & Substation will be responsible for overseeing transmission substation and line projects from inception through closeout. Key responsibilities include ensuring safety compliance, driving project tasks to completion, managing schedules, and participating in project meetings. Candidates should demonstrate strong project management skills, and expertise in electric utilities, as well as proficiency in financial planning and scheduling software. A Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Related Field
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle to frequent construction sites
Desired Qualifications
- 8-10 Years Project Management Experience
- Experience in Electric Utility Transmission and Distribution
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities
- Ability to perform financial planning and forecasting
- Competent in basic computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe)
- Competent in scheduling software (P6)
- Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work well in a group setting and manage simultaneous tasks
Additional Requirements
- Ability to pass a post-offer drug and alcohol test
