Project Manager - Transmission Line

Job Summary
Execute intermediate to complex transmission line projects by managing field operations, procurement, and safety plans while owning full project financials including P&L. Cultivate client relationships, lead bidding strategies, and prepare project initiation plans with detailed schedules and cash flow projections. Select and train leadership teams, manage subcontractors, and conduct site safety audits to ensure compliance. Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders to resolve scope changes and schedule conflicts, while developing and communicating meaningful training to crews. Complete monthly work-in-progress reconciliations and proactively identify risks to keep projects within budget. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with overnight travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, project management, or related field of study
- Minimum of five (5) years of construction project management experience
- Two or more (2) years as a Project Manager II role or similar capacity
- Minimum of two (2) years leading, developing, and motivating teams
- Minimum of eight (8) years of field experience
- Three (3) years in the supervision of construction operations
- Four (4) years of construction management experience
- Minimum of eight (8) years of field experience
- Five (5) years in the supervision of construction operations
- Two (2) years of construction management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated skills in providing leadership, motivation, vision and direction
- Proven success in developing and maintaining customer relationships
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Travel for this position is required and will consist of overnight stays
