Job Summary
Lead and coordinate end-to-end project activities from kickoff through closeout for fire and life safety systems, including developing detailed project plans, conducting design reviews, and monitoring progress to resolve field issues. Serve as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders while overseeing procurement, subcontractor coordination, budget management, and financial forecasting. Champion safety and quality compliance across all phases and mentor junior project staff. Perform occasional physical tasks such as lifting materials or working in confined spaces. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in fire protection or construction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 3-5 years of project management experience in fire protection or construction
- Strong knowledge of fire protection systems and codes
- Proficiency in project management software (ie Asana, Wrike, Trello, Microsoft Project, etc.)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites in the NY Metro area (including New Jersey)
- Must have a reliable means of transportation to various locations
- Must be able to work in office full-time, during core working hours of 9AM – 5PM
- Able to perform occasional physical tasks such as lifting materials, climbing ladders, or working in confined spaces
