Job Summary
Project Manager responsible for leading water infrastructure construction projects in the Washington, DC metro area and Northern Virginia. Lead project meetings and stakeholder communications; champion safety through the Zero Injury Safety Program; develop and manage project schedules and budgets; oversee subcontractor and vendor coordination; manage contract awards; train and develop project staff including engineers and interns; prioritize safe, on-time, within-budget project delivery for water infrastructure facilities. Requires a BS in Civil, Mechanical, or Construction Engineering and at least 5 years of related construction experience, with strong leadership and communication skills; PE license is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Civil, Mechanical, or Construction Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years experience in Water Infrastructure Construction or related heavy/industrial construction
- Experience leading teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Project Manager daily life responsibilities: leadership, communication, safety, schedule and budget control, subcontractor/vendor coordination, staff training and development
- Professional Engineer (PE) License (Nice to Have)
- Extensive experience with water infrastructure related construction (Nice to Have)
