Job Summary
Project Manager for Teradyne Global Customer Service in the Taiwan field office. Responsible for providing project management guidance and oversight for Semiconductor ATE applications test solution projects defined for global customers. Key duties include reviewing, organizing, planning, developing, coordinating, and conducting projects; ensuring execution meets expectations and gaps are driven to closure; ensuring effective communication with stakeholders at all levels; resolving cross-functional and regional integration issues; escalating and driving closure of issues; analyzing status against regional metrics/objectives; contributing feedback for best practices and process compliance; participating in development and standardization of PM processes; driving quality improvement; motivating interdisciplinary teams; collaborating with regional managers and project leaders to close resource and skill gaps; consulting on PM techniques, processes, and tools.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in engineering (Electrical, Computer, or Software preferred)
- 2+ years of engineering experience with software development (production efficiency tool)
- 2+ years of engineering experience with automatic testing equipment and customer interface
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Functional management experience is a plus
- Project Management Professional with current PMP certification is a plus
- Good organizational and communication skills; ability to communicate across project groups
- Experience managing teams in multiple geographic locations
- Experience developing and standardizing project management processes
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
