Job Summary
Project Manager to own end-to-end execution of a fast-moving solar construction equipment program. Manage integrated schedule, critical path, and milestone gates across multiple engineering tracks, supply chain, and external partners; separate program management from design leadership to enable technical execution. Onsite in Davis/Woodland, CA with up to ~20% travel to test sites and partner locations. Responsibilities include cadenced status reporting, IP disclosure workflow, risk and dependency management, cross-functional coordination with third-party integrators and labs, RAID and decision logs, and phase-gate reviews. Preferred credentials include PMP or PgMP and experience with MS Project/Smartsheet/Jira; Bachelor's in engineering or technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7+ years technical program / project management experience in a hardware engineering environment
- Demonstrated track record running multi-track engineering programs to defined milestone gates
- Strong written and verbal executive communication; comfortable presenting to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- Fluency is modern project engineering/management platforms
