Job Summary
The Project Manager will oversee various aspects of Information Technology projects, including project initiation, planning, execution, and closure. Responsibilities include budget development and tracking, resource planning, project tracking, issue and change management, quality assurance, risk assessment, and communication management. The role requires strong project management experience, with expertise in managing complex projects and working with cross-functional teams. Candidates must possess a valid PMP or Prince2 certification and demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing Information Technology projects
- Demonstrated Program Management experience
- Experience working with teams of diverse skill sets, such as Communications and Media Specialists, Financial Analysts, Policy and Legal analysis
- Expertise in project lifecycles and project planning including resource, cost, and schedule estimation
- Experience developing business cases
- Experience planning and managing projects in a Public Sector organization
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
- Strong facilitation skills
- Strong analysis and problem resolution skills
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Desired Qualifications
- Valid PMP Certification or Prince2 Practitioner certification
