Job Summary
Manage the full project lifecycle from initial planning through completion, coordinating resources and tracking progress against established timelines and budgets. Meet with clients, field crews, engineers, and design personnel to establish plans, budgets, and schedules, while acting as a liaison for changes or problems. Select, negotiate with, and coordinate vendors, contractors, or sub-contractors, and oversee material management and delivery scheduling. Track project progress against milestones and performance indicators to prepare reports for management, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to specification. May require travel to job sites, main office, and client offices. Requires at least 10 years of surveying experience, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Surveying, and a SIT certification.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years in surveying, combining both Field and Office
- Minimum SIT certification
- Strong knowledge of Surveying processes, including an expert level understanding of Carlson Survey or related drafting software
- Working knowledge of field survey techniques for boundary, topographic, and construction survey
- Proficient in using CAD
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Strong communication skills with both internal teams and external clients
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work under limited supervision
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Surveying
- Professional Land Surveyor license (PLS) helpful
