Job Summary
Oversee and monitor projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring deliverables remain within budget, on schedule, and at the appropriate quality level. Develop detailed project plans to track progress while managing changes to scope, schedule, and costs. Optimize design efficiency and quality standards by measuring performance with appropriate tools and techniques. Build client relationships, clarify specific requirements through meetings, and perform risk management to minimize project risks. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation while attending conferences and training as required. This role requires 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in food and beverage production, and involves travel to various locations both inside and outside of Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in planning, executing, monitoring, and closing out multiple concurrent projects
- Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills
- 5+ years Project Management experience in a similar environment
- Experience in research and development
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot production and quality-related issues
- Experience providing cost and timeline expectations on projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to details while focusing on the whole project
- Proven leadership skills
- Experience in a start up environment beneficial
- Please note that this role will require travel to various locations both inside and outside of Canada
Desired Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a bonus but not essential
- hands on project management experience within the food and beverage production/manufacturing industry
- Bilingual Cantonese/Mandarin/Italian beneficial but not essential
