Job Summary
Planate Management Group seeks a Project Manager to support the EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades Project for the VA at James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital in Tampa, FL. The role involves managing professional and technical services for VA design and construction project delivery, advising on project schedules and budgets, coordinating with COR/CO and stakeholders, proactively resolving issues to minimize delays, ensuring compliance with codes and specifications, developing and maintaining the Project Management Plan, and handling construction documentation, change orders, RFI reviews, and closeout submittals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or fifteen years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree)
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience in management of facility construction projects, including supervision of engineering, design and construction, schedule control, cost management, program budgeting, and overall project management activities
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with construction team members
- Healthcare project/facility experience preferred
- Meet or exceed applicable professional practice and performance standards, including TJC, OSHA, and VA policies and design standards
