Job Summary
Project Manager for commercial construction (TI) in Surrey, BC. Responsibilities include project startup and administration, cost management (budgets, cost coding, change orders, schedules, financial reporting using Timberline and Microsoft tools), subtrade and supplier coordination, collaboration with Site Superintendents to deliver on time and on budget, maintaining client/architect/consultant relationships, and invoicing/reporting of monthly progress and invoices. Requires 5–10 years’ experience in commercial construction, post-secondary/technical education in construction, Procore experience is an asset, and a valid driver’s license with ability to travel across the Lower Mainland. The role is hybrid in arrangement (partly in-office and partly on-site), with involvement across Surrey and surrounding areas.
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years’ experience in commercial construction, preferably as a Project Manager or Site Superintendent
- Post-secondary or technical education in construction or a related field
- Proficiency with construction software (Procore experience is an asset)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to attend project sites primarily across the Lower Mainland (occasional BC travel)
- Strong communicator with clients, consultants, and subtrades
- Organized and detail-oriented with project documentation and site coordination
- Financially focused with strong budget management skills
- Relationship-driven and collaborative
