Job Summary
Lead planning, coordination, cost control, procurement, documentation, and client communications for Water/Wastewater infrastructure projects in Mississauga. Support field execution with supervision teams to ensure projects meet contract requirements, schedule, and budget. Develop execution plans with Superintendents, identify risks and scope gaps, track costs and variances, manage RFIs/submittals/shop drawings, maintain documentation and progress reporting, oversee change orders and invoices, and assist with close-out and as-built documentation. Requires 7–10 years of direct Water/Wastewater PM experience, Ontario P.Eng, scheduling proficiency (Primavera P6/MS Project), strong vendor/subcontractor relationships, and commissioning/start-up expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of direct Water/Wastewater infrastructure project management experience with a general contractor in a lump sum bid environment
- P.Eng certification in Ontario
- Project Management Professional certification is an asset
- Strong working relationships with vendors, subcontractors and stakeholders
- Proven project scheduling skills using Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Experience with commissioning and start-up of complex mechanical, electrical, and process systems
- Ability to review contracts, drawings, specifications, and schedules in detail
- Experience developing execution plans with Superintendents and Site Supervisors
- Tracking project costs, commitments, and forecasted variances
- Managing RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and correspondence
- Preparing internal and client progress reports
- Managing change orders, extras, and claims documentation
- Vendor/subcontractor invoice review and approval
- Knowledge of OSHA/ safety and regulatory requirements in Ontario
- Experience with close-out documentation and project handover
