Job Summary
Own end-to-end delivery of the data strategy and governance programme, mobilizing a multi-disciplinary consulting team and managing the client relationship at senior level. Build and maintain the integrated programme plan covering data strategy, governance framework design, and workstreams while managing risk, issue, and change control. Act as the primary interface with the client programme sponsor and regulatory stakeholders, chairing steering committee meetings and producing executive reporting. Track compliance obligations against national data policy, ensure deliverable quality assurance before submission, and manage commercial performance including milestone acceptance. Requires PMP or PRINCE2 certification, 10+ years of experience, and proven delivery in the Power and Utilities sector within the MENA region.
Required Qualifications
- PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification, current
- Minimum 10 years of professional work experience, of which at least 3 years managing programmes of directly comparable type
- Minimum 4 delivered projects of equivalent data governance programme complexity, delivered for organisations based in the MENA region
- Demonstrable delivery experience within the Power and Utilities sector
- Fluent professional English
Desired Qualifications
- Arabic language capability
- Experience with GCC public sector or government-owned entity governance, procurement and approval cycles
- Familiarity with national data governance regulation in Qatar, UAE or Saudi Arabia
- Additional credentials such as MSP, PgMP, DAMA CDMP or DCAM
