Job Summary
Project Manager to oversee construction and engineering projects from planning through commissioning and closeout. Responsible for coordinating project activities, maintaining schedules and budgets, and ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory alignment. Will work with clients, contractors, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders to drive project execution. Travel to client sites may be required up to 100%. Key tasks include reviewing A&E submissions (MEP, structural), managing RFIs/submittals/clarifications, starting up and closing out projects, reading and managing plans/contracts/subcontracts/purchase orders, maintaining as-built documentation, TOCC transfer to facilities operations, using ProCore/E-Builder/Prolog, acting as owner’s representative on capital projects, developing schedules with MS Project, conducting site walks, producing daily reports and progress measurements, reviewing site safety docs with EHS, coordinating multiple contractors, supporting commissioning and handover of building systems (HVAC, emergency power, UPS, lab gases, RODI water, boilers, steam generators), implementing document control and metadata standards, and driving continuous process improvement. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- PMP certification is a plus
- 4–9 years of experience in project engineering or project management
- experience coordinating contractors across multiple disciplines
- experience executing projects within active operating facilities
- experience participating in commissioning and turnover of building systems (HVAC, emergency power, UPS, lab gases, RODI water, boilers, steam generators)
- proficiency with Microsoft Project and construction management software
