Job Summary
Project Manager needed to lead and manage survey projects across residential/commercial land development and renewable energy sectors. You will oversee drafting, review, and finalization of preliminary and final site plans and construction documents, analyze survey data and site conditions (including ALTA surveys, easements, and condo documents), supervise survey crews and office staff, provide oversight on large-scale ALTA surveys for solar or wind power, guide junior team members on permit applications and related construction documents, and utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble software. The role includes mentoring staff, contributing to training and professional development, and supporting staff with licensing and career growth. Eligible candidates have a Professional Survey License (PLS/PSM) and 8+ years of related experience, with preferred experience in Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D and a strong understanding of boundary and ALTA surveys, construction staking, GPS, legal descriptions, and real estate documents.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Survey License (PLS, PSM)
- 8+ years of survey industry-related work experience
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop a growing team
- Experience with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
- Advanced understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Construction Staking, Leveling, Traversing, GPS, Data Collections, Legal Descriptions, Plan interpretations, Real Estate Documents
